The July issue cover featured Gretsch artist, Brad Wilk. Best known for his drumming with Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, Brad was handpicked by producer Rick Rubin to play on the new Black Sabbath album. This issue also featured an article "Gigging with Rock Royalty" with Gretsch/Gibraltar/Toca artist Hannah Ford and her views on being chosen as Prince's drummer and her experiences. And if that wasn't enough for one issue, our new G-Class Gibraltar single pedal was tested and had a great review that ended with the following: "With the G-Class, Gibraltar has created a unique, viable, and high-quality professional single pedal that leaves me wondering: When can we expect the G-Class double pedal?"

The Catalina Maple series starts with the Gretsch maple formula shell. We carefully developed the maple shell specification to produce tones that explode with attack and volume and project a balanced amount of warm, low-end frequencies. All Catalina Maple shells are 7-ply, 7.2mm.
The Catalina Maples are available in two configurations - a 6-piece shell pack set and a 5-piece shell pack set. Add-on drums are also available to allow for further drum set expansion.Read More
