We asked...Why Gretsch?:
"Because of the Great Gretsch Sound :)
It allows an amazing attack and articulation in all dynamics, perfectly suited to my way of playing.
Here, I can express everything I want to say and hear on a Drumset.
The attack is so round and fat, creating an insane impact in the music.
It is also fantastically easy to tune and sounds unbelievably full at every tuning."
Advice to aspiring musicians?:
"Listening to music:
Don’t think in genres.
Listen to other instruments and try to translate that to your own instrument.
Analyze different ways of developing and composing music and your language.
Accept and enjoy the fact that we will never fully arrive where we want to be, because of our hopefully endless dreams and utopias.
It is all about the prozess itself."
