GRETSCH® EXPANDS CATALINA CLUB CLASSIC SERIES WITH 20” BASS DRUM CONFIGURATION

Gretsch Drums is proud to introduce the addition of a new configuration to its Catalina Club Classic drum series. Designed to capture the sound of drum kits of the 1960s, Catalina Club Classic drums feature mahogany shells, a 30-degree shell bearing edge, 1.6mm triple-flange hoops, Gretsch GTS tom suspension system, a single tom holder and wood bass drum hoops with matching inlays.
The new Gretsch Catalina Club Classic Series kit includes a 14”x 20” bass drum, an 8”x 12” mounted tom, a 14”x 14” floor tom and a 5 ½”x 14” 8-lug snare drum. Finishes include new Ocean Twilight, and Copper Sparkle and Galaxy Black Sparkle.
“The new 14”x 20” bass drum provides a punchy, versatile sound that can be used in many applications,” said John Palmer, Director of Product for Gretsch Drums.

open tones, professional features and rock solid performance at
an accessible price. Marquee shells combine 7-ply North American
maple with a slight softer maple species that are cut with
classic Gretsch 30-degree bearing edges and fit with 2.3mm
triple flanged hoops.
