GRETSCH® CONTINUES 130th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH LIMITED RUN SIX-PIECE DRUM SET

Only 12 Limited Edition 130th anniversary Vintage Cherry Burst drum kits will be available in the U.S.
Gretsch Drums is celebrating its 130th anniversary in 2013 with a line of commemorative USA-made drum sets that will be made available at select Gretsch retailers throughout the year. Beginning June 1st, Gretsch will release a very limited run of 12 six-piece drum sets in a striking Vintage Cherry Burst finish. Each drum will have classic Gretsch appointments, a special 130th anniversary interior shell label that is numbered to signify its production sequence, and a Certificate of Authenticity.
The Vintage Cherry Burst is one of four 130th anniversary USA Custom configurations that are being crafted in small quantities to mark this historic occasion.
“This year’s 130th anniversary kits from our USA Custom facility have been well received,” said John Palmer, Director of Product for Gretsch Drums. “This beautifully finished drum set will become another proud milestone in the long history of Gretsch.”

New from Gretsch® Drums, the Marquee series delivers explosive,
open tones, professional features and rock solid performance at
an accessible price. Marquee shells combine 7-ply North American
maple with a slight softer maple species that are cut with
classic Gretsch 30-degree bearing edges and fit with 2.3mm
triple flanged hoops.
