Gretsch Welcomes John Kelly

John has been the drummer for Type O Negative since 1993, and achieved Gold and Platinum status. He has also been the drummer with Danzig since 2002. Aside from these bands, John is also the drummer for A Pale Horse Named Death, Seventh Void and Seven Witches. He was also the drummer with Black Label Society in 2011.

When asked why he chose our products, he replied "Very impressed with Gibraltar Hardware, and I like what Gretsch has done with their new products. I heard a couple of Gretsch kits recently and was blown away! We're both from Brooklyn!"

Catalina Maple

Carefully developed to produce tones that explode a balanced amount of warm low end frequencies

The Catalina Maple series starts with the Gretsch maple formula shell. We carefully developed the maple shell specification to produce tones that explode with attack and volume and project a balanced amount of warm, low-end frequencies. All Catalina Maple shells are 7-ply, 7.2mm.

The Catalina Maples are available in two configurations - a 6-piece shell pack set and a 5-piece shell pack set. Add-on drums are also available to allow for further drum set expansion.
