Gretsch Drums Introduces the New Energy Drum Set Package for Entry-level Drummers

Gretsch Drums is pleased to offer two new Energy Drum set packages as an ideal option for beginning drummers, and to provide an opportunity for players of all skill levels to enjoy their legendary offerings.

GE-E8256PK is a complete 5-piece set with hardware and Sabian cymbals. GE-E8256S is a 5-piece shell pack.

The Gretsch Energy drum set packages are perfect for the first time buyer. These feature-packed and quality-crafted drum kits come with specifications typically found on semi-pro drum sets like the non-drilled bass drum. The Energy package comes complete with double-braced hardware that includes a snare stand, hi-hat stand, BD pedal and boom stand and includes a complete set of Sabian SBR cymbals (13” hi-hats, 16” crash and 20” ride). All shells are 7-ply, 7mm Poplar. The toms feature “quick” sizes, which provide punchy tones and allow for lower positioning to benefit younger drummers. The 30-degree bearing edges (45-degree on snare drum), 5 lug configuration and Gretsch style lug draw from the design concepts of the rich Gretsch lineage. GRETSCH 130th ANNIVERSARY

Gretsch Drums is proudly celebrating its 130th Anniversary with a series of Limited Edition American-made drum sets and snare drums. These drums will be released throughout the year and each will include a specially designed 130th Anniversary interior shell label and a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. The labels and certificates will be numbered to indicate the production sequence of each drum.

Catalina Maple

Carefully developed to produce tones that explode a balanced amount of warm low end frequencies

The Catalina Maple series starts with the Gretsch maple formula shell. We carefully developed the maple shell specification to produce tones that explode with attack and volume and project a balanced amount of warm, low-end frequencies. All Catalina Maple shells are 7-ply, 7.2mm.

The Catalina Maples are available in two configurations - a 6-piece shell pack set and a 5-piece shell pack set. Add-on drums are also available to allow for further drum set expansion.
