Gretsch Drums is thrilled to add Motor City Red to the vibrant color offerings of the popular Renown57 drum set (RN57-E825-MCR). Sure to be an attention-grabber onstage with its rich hue, the Motor City Red offering is now available in addition to the Motor City Black and Motor City Blue Renown57 color choices.
Motor City Red features a lustrous, candy apple red lacquer with small metallic flakes. To give added color distinction, the chevron color is painted a cream hue. The two-toned red/cream colors project a custom, hot-rod vibe.
Inspired by the great American car companies from the 1950’s, the Renown57 incorporates timeless, iconic car design elements into each drum. The “hood ornament” is the Renown Chevron, an aluminum triangular teardrop painted cream with raised beveled chrome edges and embossed chrome Gretsch logo. Each drum has its own sized chevron, scaled to symmetrically fit that specific drum size.
The combination of contemporary and timeless features on the Renown57 makes the series a true modern day classic. The Renown57 in Motor City Red features North American rock maple shells and standard Renown specifications to produce punchy and full tones. Gretsch’s ball/socket double tom holder securely mounts toms to the bass drum. For a limited time, this kit includes a FREE matching Motor City Red throne from Gibraltar Hardware. MSRP: $3010.
