Started playing drums and percussion at the age of 12 playing gigs in the school band and discovering the world of music forming bands and playing venues and clubs throughout Melbourne.

Studied drum lessons with teacher Harold Ripper in Melbourne Australia.

1990's
Drumming for various bands playing venues throughout Melbourne, Sydney and South East Qld.

2000's
Joined with Tom Misner (Owner of School Of Audio Engineering and 301 Studios) doing session drums at 301 Studios Byron Bay and playing venues throughout NSW and Qld. Joined with Murray Burns (Mi-Sex) doing session soundtracks for various TV commercials and documentaries for companies such as Sun Herald, Queensland University in his Studio at 301 Studio's Byron Bay. Appointed session drummerfor Pete Murray and Jeff Martin (The Tea party) . Live performances with Brian Cadd, Irwin Thomas (Jack Jones), Jeff Martin and Reformed band Mi-Sex. Session drummer for Jeff Martin Productions. Studio recording forming the Artist JATT recording with the unique sound of Gretsch Drums

GRETSCH 130th ANNIVERSARY

Gretsch Drums is proudly celebrating its 130th Anniversary with a series of Limited Edition American-made drum sets and snare drums. These drums will be released throughout the year and each will include a specially designed 130th Anniversary interior shell label and a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. The labels and certificates will be numbered to indicate the production sequence of each drum.

Catalina Maple

Carefully developed to produce tones that explode a balanced amount of warm low end frequencies

The Catalina Maple series starts with the Gretsch maple formula shell. We carefully developed the maple shell specification to produce tones that explode with attack and volume and project a balanced amount of warm, low-end frequencies. All Catalina Maple shells are 7-ply, 7.2mm.

The Catalina Maples are available in two configurations - a 6-piece shell pack set and a 5-piece shell pack set. Add-on drums are also available to allow for further drum set expansion.
