About the Artist

Travis began his musical journey on Piano at the age of 7. After 4 years of formal lessons he switched to the drum kit. During his secondary school years, through the guidance of tutor Lorne Campbell, he developed a strong passion for Drumming and Music, which lead to Travis playing live on Channel [V], at Festival Hall and play on the same bill with artists like James Morrison, Killing Heidi and Motor Ace. After graduating with a Diploma of Music Performance in 2004, Travis started tutoring drums and gigging heavily around North-East Victoria. Slowly becoming the first call drummer for various musician's in the Region. In 2003, Travis began formal studies with one of Australia’s best drummers in Darryn Farrugia. During that time he also received lessons from Dave Beck, Ryan Menezes and David Jones. A move to Melbourne in 2008 saw Travis win the inaugural Revolver drums "BIGGEST, PHATEST, MEANEST, DIRTIEST” GROOVE player competition. Since then Travis has become one of the Melbourne’s most in demand drummers, bringing his PASSION, MUSICIANSHIP and GROOVE to every performance.
