Aaron Gillespie

About the Artist

Aaron has played in bands since the age of 14, when he became a founding member of Underoath. After more than a decade behind the drums for Underoath, during which time he lead them to over 1.5 million records sold, a #2 record on the Billboard charts (2006's Define the Great Line), and 2 Grammy nominations, he left in 2010 to focus on his band The Almost, who just released their third full length (2013's Fear Inside Our Bones) and have sold over 300,000 records worldwide. Aaron also found time to release a solo worship album, Anthem Song, which was released in 2012. In late 2013, he returned to the kit as the full-time touring drummer for Paramore, playing with them on sold out tours of Europe and the US, as well as numerous radio festivals and TV appearances, including Good Morning America, Queen Latifah, and last year's season finale of The Voice. This summer he'll be joining them for a full US co-headlining ampitheater tour with Fall Out Boy.
