Kimberly Thompson is a three time grammy winner and 1 time grammy nominee artist from the Last 10yrs of projects have coursed her on high profile performance levels from legendary jazz to the center of pop culture with the likeness of artist Beyonce' Knowles Carter, Kenny Barron, Mike Stern, Jay-Z , Kanye West, Marian McPartland, & George Michaels as well as commercializing for companies like Citibank w/artist Alicia Keys, and television networking such as The View, MTV, BET, Grammy Awards, & many other popular television shows & capital networks.

Teaching and traveling in over 33 countries worldwide Kimberly has training in many genres of music and peaking skills through new production company founded in Harlem, NY, KTMUSIC Productions co. releasing songs written and produced by Kimberly Thompson. A criss cross entanglement of electric sounds, modern beats, & melodic jazz instrumentation, engrossing lyricism and true storytelling by todays generation. Kimberly was born in L.A.,CA and raised in St.Louis, MO. following up with studies at the prestige conservatory Manhattan School of Music w/a Bachelors in jazz composition & education currently residing in New York.

GRETSCH 130th ANNIVERSARY

Gretsch Drums is proudly celebrating its 130th Anniversary with a series of Limited Edition American-made drum sets and snare drums. These drums will be released throughout the year and each will include a specially designed 130th Anniversary interior shell label and a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. The labels and certificates will be numbered to indicate the production sequence of each drum.

Catalina Maple

Carefully developed to produce tones that explode a balanced amount of warm low end frequencies

The Catalina Maple series starts with the Gretsch maple formula shell. We carefully developed the maple shell specification to produce tones that explode with attack and volume and project a balanced amount of warm, low-end frequencies. All Catalina Maple shells are 7-ply, 7.2mm.

The Catalina Maples are available in two configurations - a 6-piece shell pack set and a 5-piece shell pack set. Add-on drums are also available to allow for further drum set expansion.
