Damon Wilson

About the Artist

Damon first established his reputation for hard hitting pop-punk chops in arenas across the UK/USA/Europe and Japan with multi-platinum sellers "Busted" back in 2003/04. These days Damon is one of London's new blood of in-demand session players with recording and/or touring credits with Matt Willis, McFly, Sugababes, Bon Jovi, Luke Toms, Paddy Casey and Nerina Pallot. His wide reaching musicality and adaptabilty have paired him up with mellow singer/songwriters to full tilt rock and everything in between. "My Gretsch tubs are the only drums I've played that can cover every style!"

Damon is currently touring with The Waterboys and has been on the road in 07 with Sugababes / Matt Willis and Tunde from Lighthouse Family. He's also been recording and touring with singer/songwriter Ben Parker as well as doing his first clinics for Gretsch in the UK with Stanton Moore. 2008 promises to be a big year for the Aussie lad with more US tours and a new album to be recorded with The Waterboys.

Catalina Maple

Carefully developed to produce tones that explode a balanced amount of warm low end frequencies

The Catalina Maple series starts with the Gretsch maple formula shell. We carefully developed the maple shell specification to produce tones that explode with attack and volume and project a balanced amount of warm, low-end frequencies. All Catalina Maple shells are 7-ply, 7.2mm.

The Catalina Maples are available in two configurations - a 6-piece shell pack set and a 5-piece shell pack set. Add-on drums are also available to allow for further drum set expansion.
